Privacy notice

W Godman-Dorington, trading as Haylands Barn, Haylands Farm, Graffham, Petworth, West Sussex GU28 0NU, is the data controller for the personal details you give us.

What we collect and why

When you send an enquiry, email us or call, we keep your name, contact details, your preferred date, guest numbers and anything you tell us about your plans, so that we can answer you, arrange a viewing and, if you book, manage your wedding or event. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and then performing that contract. We keep enquiry details for up to two years and booking records for six years after your event, for our accounting and legal obligations.

Who we share it with

Enquiries sent through this website are stored in our Wix account, which processes them on our behalf. We share your details only with people who need them to run your event, such as our on-site team, and we never pass them to anyone else for marketing. We do not send marketing emails unless you ask us to.

Cookies and analytics

This site stores your estimate in your own browser if you choose to send it with an enquiry; nothing else is stored unless analytics are enabled, in which case anonymous usage statistics help us see which pages are useful.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the details we hold about you, or object to how we use them, by emailing archie@haylandsbarn.co.uk. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
